The Tuileries Garden is located in the first district of Paris, near the Louvre Museum. He had formerly been part of the Tuileries Palace, burnt voluntarily by the Communards in 1871 These gardens "French" have become a public park.They had been built in 1564 on the orders of Catherine de Medici, in the Italian style. But later, Jean-Baptiste Colbert wanted them to redraw in a French style then in vogue. He appealed to André Le Nôtre. In particular, he decided to build a center aisle and two basins which delimit. From the time of Catherine de Medici, some buildings such as the Orangerie was kept.
In addition to the fire scene, other events took place during the revolution.
